This is a wall mountable DC to DC low voltage constant voltage dimmer switch for single colour 12 or 24V LED Strips. Additional non dimmable power supply (LED driver) 12 or 24V to be purchased separately.
Hi-Line's DC LED dimmer switch wall controller operates on either 12V or 24V DC and is used to dim single colour LED tape. It takes the DC input voltage from an LED driver and dims the LED strip using PWM (pulse width modulation) output.
It has 4 outputs each rated at 5A maximum and all outputs run simultaneously. Every output can run maximum of 60W (for 12V LED tape) or 120W (For 24V LED tape).
Mounts onto a standard UK 1 gang back box.

This dimmer can be used as a cost effective solution to dim especially longer runs of LED tape. For such projects suggested 24V LED strip is Hi-Line's low power consumption and high efficiency LED tape 4.8w/m that comes in 20 meter rolls. Every output (4 in total) of this DC dimmer switch can drive 20m (one roll) a total of 80 meters of tape with only 384 Watt power consumption with just one 500 Watt LED driver.
Projects involving low voltage high current dimmers controllers and power supplies should only be installed by qualified Electricians or Engineers. (Overheating of cables especially by using thin wire conductors, when very large currents are made to flow through these conductors, these wire conductors will heat up and produce very high temperatures and most possibly fire).
