UK Delivery – Our Courier
We primarily use DPD for UK deliveries due to their reliability, tracking quality, and delivery notifications.
For certain oversized or specialist items, an alternative approved courier may be used where more suitable.
Once an order is processed and dispatched, customers will automatically receive an email containing:
A PDF invoice
The courier tracking number and delivery link
Standard Delivery
Tracked delivery. This is not a same-day dispatch service. Orders are processed strictly in the order received.
Delivery is typically within approximately 3 working days, although delays may occur during peak periods.
Free UK delivery is available on orders over £100 (not valid for LED profiles).
Priority Same-Day Dispatch
DPD Next Day service. Orders placed before 3:00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) are dispatched the same day.
Delivery is typically the next working day, subject to courier performance.
Oversized Parcels (1–3 Working Days)
This delivery method is typically used for oversized LED profiles and similar items.
Delivery can often occur as early as the next working day. However, same-day pick, pack, and dispatch cannot be guaranteed for oversized items due to handling and packaging requirements.
Delivery is typically within 1–3 working days, subject to item size, order volume, and courier capacity.
Pickup at Store (KT2 6NU)
COLLECT same day, usually ready within 2 hours, if ordered before 3:00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Please wait for your confirmation email before attending.
If you have not received confirmation, do not come for collection.
If urgent, you may call us to check status; however, confirmation is always provided by email.
Same-Day Delivery (London Postcodes Only)
We offer Same-Day Delivery for eligible London postcodes on orders processed before 1:00pm Monday to Friday.
To request Same-Day Delivery, please email us or use the website help button, using the subject line:
“Same-Day Delivery Request”
This allows us to confirm availability and process the order promptly.
International Delivery
International Standard (10–15 Days)
For this delivery option, we use UK and international postal services with an estimated delivery time of 10–15 days.
You will be responsible for paying any applicable import taxes or duties.
Delivery times may be affected by courier network congestion and busy periods.
International Express (3–5 Working Days)
This service uses reputable couriers such as DPD, UPS, or DHL, with an estimated delivery time of 3–5 working days.
You will be responsible for paying any applicable import taxes or duties.
Delivery times may be affected by courier network congestion and busy periods.
Use Your Own Courier Account (Collection)
You may select this option at checkout if you are using your own shipping account.
We currently accept DHL, FedEx, and UPS accounts only.
Timed & Special Delivery Options (On Request)
In addition to the standard delivery options shown at checkout, we can also arrange special or timed courier services on request, including:
DPD Next Day by 10:30am
DPD Next Day by 12:00 noon
These services are not automated at checkout, are subject to postcode availability, and must be checked and confirmed before dispatch.
If you require a timed or special delivery service, please email us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and cost.
You may also call us; however, confirmation is always handled by email.
Once confirmed, a payment link will be provided for the delivery upgrade.
Timed services are carrier-operated services. While DPD is generally very reliable, Hi-Line Lighting cannot accept responsibility for courier delays once goods have been dispatched.
Important Notes
During exceptionally busy periods, some delivery methods may be temporarily unavailable.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and commence from the day of dispatch.
Delivery performance is dependent on the courier, and Hi-Line Lighting cannot accept responsibility for delays outside our control.
