Digital RGB LED pixel modules, 5V input, 12mm diameter, IP65 waterproof, WS2811 IC – supplied as a 50-piece pack for addressable lighting projects.
This 5V addressable RGB LED pixel module set contains 50 individually controlled lighting points, each powered by a WS2811 chip. Ideal for signage, creative installations, and decorative projects, these modules deliver vibrant colour mixing with precise control.
Each pixel module has a 12mm body and comes pre-wired with 100mm tails between each unit. Using the standard WS2811 protocol, you can assign unique colours and effects to every pixel. The modules are designed for quick push-fit mounting into pre-drilled 12mm holes and connect via a 3-pin JST SM connector.
Operating from a 5V DC input, each module houses a single RGB LED and WS2811 IC, allowing full digital control of each pixel. The total power consumption is approximately 15W per 50-pixel string.
These modules are compatible with SPI-based LED controllers, including Hi-Line’s DMX512 to SPI decoder (Ref: HL-DS-L). Each controller output can manage up to 682 WS2811 pixels (based on 2048 DMX channels), with power provided externally according to your installation design.
Perfect for channel letters, message boards, and animated lighting effects, these modules are a flexible, reliable choice for indoor and outdoor projects.
Installation Notes:
Drill 12mm holes in your chosen surface and press-fit the modules into place. Connect power and signal lines via the pre-attached 3-pin JST connector (Red = 5V, Green = Data, White = GND). For outdoor applications, ensure all connections are fully protected using sealed joiners or waterproof enclosures.
