The slim rectangular design is long and thin, allowing it to fit seamlessly into various installation environments. This avoids bulkiness, enabling discreet and space-efficient mounting.
Dual control modes are available. DALI-2 (DT6) control is compatible with DALI-2 systems for advanced lighting control, offering improved interoperability and additional features compared to the original DALI protocol. The Push DIM function allows control via a standard press switch, providing intuitive on/off and dimming control without the need for a DALI signal.
Push DIM Functionality:
Our innovative Push DIM function transforms any standard press switch into a powerful control interface for your lighting. This feature is perfect for users who may not be familiar with or do not require a full DALI system.
On/off control is achieved with a short press on the standard switch, while stepless dimming is achieved with a long press. The longer you hold the switch, the more the brightness changes. When the switch is released and pressed again, the brightness level will move in the opposite direction. The driver remembers the last brightness setting, so when you turn the lights back on, they return to the previous dimming level. This is particularly useful for maintaining preferred lighting levels without readjustment each time.

Push DIM Connection Diagram:
For users planning to utilise the Push DIM functionality, the connection is straightforward. Connect the live (L) and neutral (N) wires from the mains supply to the corresponding L and N terminals on the driver. Ensure the earth (ground) wire is connected properly for safety.
Use the same set of wires (live and neutral) for either DALI input or Push DIM input. Connect a standard press switch between the live (L) terminal and the Push DIM input on the driver. This switch will allow you to control the on/off and dimming functions as described. Refer to the attached hand-drawn diagram for visual guidance: The live (L) wire from the mains supply is connected to both the driver and the switch. The neutral (N) wire is connected to the driver and the switch, creating a loop that enables the Push DIM functionality.
Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals from the driver to the corresponding terminals on the LED strip or other LED load. The diagram shows the simplicity of the setup, allowing for seamless integration into existing lighting systems without the need for complex wiring or advanced technical knowledge.
Flicker-Free Performance:
The Hi-Line Lighting DT6 LED Driver is designed to ensure flicker-free performance, adhering to the IEEE 1789 standards. Flicker can be a significant issue in lighting, causing discomfort and health issues over time. The DT6 driver maintains safe modulation limits, ensuring a comfortable and safe lighting environment.
High-Frequency PWM Operation:
The DT6 LED Driver operates with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) at approximately 3500Hz. This high-frequency operation ensures smooth dimming and reduces any potential flicker, making it ideal for sensitive environments such as offices, schools, and residential spaces.
