12mm L Shape LED strip PCBW, 5 pin RGBW (pack of 5)
This connector is used in combination with 12mm RGBW strip to strip connector (sold separately) to connect two lengths of RGBW colour LED strip together (in 90 degrees angle) without any soldering to be required.
Note that during installation might be convenient just to "fold" the LED tape around the corners without using any accessories but since every case is different we offer this L shape pcb as an option.
In order to use that with IP rated LED strips, waterproof coating (resin) must be removed from the end of both LED strips. You can use on the top of the connection heat shrinkable tubing to maintain IP rating.
Please ensure connector clips are aligned with the copper contacts of the LED Strip and notice the polarity. If connecting IP rated strips remove any gel coating from copper contacts completely. In some cases might be required to move the LED forward or backwards in order for connector contacts to be aligned properly. Then insert strip in the slot and before closing the connector cover ensure the teeth clamps will hold the circuit board of LED strip in place. If an LED chip is located near by the copper connection contacts of the strip the cover might not be able to close and you may try in such a case to use the other end of your LED strip and install the connector upside down in order to match the polarity.
We do suggest using this connector for powering up to 5m of LED strip. To power longer runs a soldered connection is suggested.
This accessory can only work with 12mm wide RGBW strips, it is not suitable for 10mm RGBW LED strip
