Optimize your LED installations with our specially designed connector for 12mm wide COB RGB plus white tunable LED strips. This connector is tailored to seamlessly integrate with Hi-Line products, ensuring high compatibility and performance.
Technical Specifications:
Wire Configuration: Equipped with 22 AWG flat ribbon wires in the colour sequence of black, green, red, blue, white, and yellow. Important: Wire colours may not align with standard LED strip configurations. Please verify and match the wire colours according to the specifications printed on your LED strip.
Current Capacity: Each pin can handle up to 3.5A. For optimal safety and performance, avoid loading pins to their maximum capacity.
Operating Voltage: Compatible with systems running between 3V and 24V DC.
Installation Instructions:
Strip Insertion: Insert the LED strip straight into the connector to avoid bending. Push the strip in as far as it will go without forcing it.
Securing the Strip: Close the clips to lock the strip into place. Consult the product photos for visual guidance on proper insertion depth.

Important Usage Note
Each pin of this connector supports up to 3.5A, but because of the common anode design, the total current through the connector is also limited to 3.5A. At 24V, this equals a maximum load of 84W.
With a 16W/m COB RGB + Tunable White strip, this means the connector is suitable for up to 5 metres of strip.
It can be used at the end of a 5m strip to add another 5m section.
It can also be used between two 5m sections to join them in the middle.
It must not be used at the beginning of a 10m strip to power the entire length, because the shared anode cannot safely carry the current of more than 5m. For safety and long-term reliability, avoid running the connector continuously at its maximum rated capacity.
Caution for Installation:
When using these connectors for COB or SMD strips, inexperienced handling can damage the LED strip. It is crucial to test the connector beforehand to become familiar with its use. Ensure the cut point copper of the section you will use is correctly aligned with the clamping terminal. Inserting the connector too deeply or too shallowly can cause a short circuit of some of the strip's colours. Proper insertion depth is essential to avoid damaging the LED strip. Practice and testing will help achieve the correct technique.
