Looking for a reliable way to dim single colour LED strips directly from a mains dimmer or a simple push button? The TF-150-24 is built exactly for this purpose. With 150W of output power at 24V, it delivers stable performance and smooth dimming whether you choose a wall dimmer or a Push to Make switch.

Flexible dimming options
This driver supports both leading-edge Triac and trailing-edge ELV dimming. That means it works with a wide range of dimmers, including popular brands like Lutron, Clipsal and Dynalite. Because it has been designed for both dimming methods, you do not have to worry about compatibility. Just keep in mind that every dimmer has its own minimum dimming level. To dim right down to 1%, you will need a dimmer that can actually support 1% output.

What about Push to Make?
A Push to Make switch is simply a standard 240V AC momentary switch, often the same type used as a bell switch. It does not carry the LED load. Instead, it sends a low-current signal into the driver, and the driver itself handles the dimming. This means you do not need a heavy-duty dimmer, just a simple press switch on the wall. You can even connect several drivers to the same Push to Make switch and they will dim together in sync.

Important to note: the TF-150-24 can be wired for mains dimming or Push to Make, but not both at the same time.

Choosing the right setup
For a kitchen installation with a traditional wall rotary dimmer, the TF-150-24 provides direct dimming of single colour LED strips.
For a smart home using a Lutron system, this driver is fully compatible with both leading-edge and trailing-edge control.
For a living room or hallway using a Push to Make button, the driver allows smooth dimming without the need for a bulky dimmer unit.
For projects with wireless RF controllers or 24V wall-mounted touch dimmers, a non-dimmable driver is normally sufficient, but this dimmable model will still work safely if you prefer to standardise equipment.
