90° Corners with IP68 Outdoor RGBW LED Strips With fully sealed IP68 outdoor RGBW LED strips, 90-degree corners should not be done by sharply bending the strip or creating on-site corner joins, as this can compromise the factory waterproofing. The most reliable method is to install separate straight runs: One strip finishes before the corner, and a second strip starts after the corner. Both cut ends are sealed properly using end caps and silicone. This gives a clean corner appearance without introducing a waterproof joint directly at the turn. On-site soldering is technically possible but requires extreme precision, as RGBW strips have five closely spaced conductors and must be professionally resealed back to full IP68. Once the lengths and layout are confirmed, we are happy to help size the correct power supplies, controllers, and control options for the full system.
