This commercial-grade RGB LED strip is supplied as a complete 5-metre roll (price shown is for the full roll, not per metre). It uses premium SMD5050 LED chips for vivid, stable and high-quality colour output across every metre. The strip operates at 14.4W/m, runs on 24V DC and maintains excellent colour consistency for professional installations.
Hi-Line’s upgraded IP65 protection now uses a high-quality silicone heat-shrink sleeve that fully surrounds the PCB. This replaces the older PU resin method that protected only the top surface. The new sleeve offers better splash resistance, improved long-term stability and easier access for installers. It can be removed cleanly for cutting and soldering, and a suitable heat-shrink sleeve may be applied afterwards if extended protection is required.
Each roll includes a 15cm pre-soldered 4-core cable on both ends. This allows the 5-metre strip to be cut at any point and split into two separate lengths, each already fitted with tails and ready for use. For more complex installations, soldering remains the recommended method for long-term reliability. Installers who prefer solder-free options may use IP00 connectors after removing the sleeve, followed by adding heat-shrink tubing to reinstate protection.
The strip can be cut every 6 LEDs (approximately 10cm). The original 3M adhesive backing, identified by its red protective liner, ensures strong adhesion on clean, dry surfaces.
This LED strip is fully dimmable when paired with a suitable RGB controller. It is compatible with all common-anode RGB and RGBW controllers, including Fibaro RGBW, Rako and other high-quality PWM control systems.
For lengths beyond 5 metres, do not connect strips in series. Longer installations must be powered directly from the controller using a 4-core cable to prevent voltage drop and avoid PCB damage.
