This high-density RGB LED strip is supplied as a complete 5-metre roll (the price shown is for the full roll, not per metre). It uses premium SMD4040 RGB LED chips arranged at 120 LEDs per metre, producing exceptionally vivid colours and a powerful light output of 2400 lumens per metre. At 28.8W/m, it delivers one of the strongest RGB performances in the Hi-Line range and is widely used by professionals for installations that demand high brightness and outstanding visual quality.
Hi-Line’s upgraded IP65 protection uses a precisely applied silicone heat-shrink sleeve that fully surrounds the PCB. This advanced method replaces older coating techniques and provides superior splash protection, improved stability and easy access for installers. The sleeve can be removed neatly for cutting or soldering, and a suitable heat-shrink sleeve can be applied afterwards if extended protection is required.
Each 5-metre roll includes a 15cm pre-soldered 4-core cable at both ends. This allows the strip to be cut at any point and used immediately as two ready-made lengths. For installations requiring multiple custom segments, soldering remains the most reliable connection method. At 8mm wide, this LED strip currently does not support solder-free connectors, so soldering is required for all additional joints.
The strip can be cut every 6 LEDs (approximately 50mm). The original 3M adhesive backing ensures excellent adhesion when applied to clean, dry surfaces.
Due to the high output of 28.8W/m, installation on an aluminium bar or profile is strongly recommended to provide proper cooling and support long-term LED lifespan.

For installations longer than 5 metres, strips must not be connected in series. Longer lengths should be powered directly from the controller using a suitable 4-core cable to prevent voltage drop and avoid damage to the PCB.
