This high-density RGB LED strip is supplied as a complete 5-metre roll (the price shown is for the full roll, not per metre). Using premium SMD4040 LED chips arranged at 120 LEDs per metre, it delivers exceptionally vivid colour performance and an impressive brightness of 2400 lumens per metre. With 28.8W/m, this is one of the most powerful non-waterproof RGB strips available and is widely regarded by professionals as the top choice for applications that require maximum visual impact.
At IP00, the LED strip is designed for indoor installations or protected environments where a waterproof rating is not required. Because no coating or sleeve is applied, the LEDs deliver their full optical performance with perfect uniformity, and installers benefit from the easiest possible access for cutting and soldering.
Each 5-metre roll includes a 15cm pre-soldered 4-core cable on both ends, allowing the roll to be cut at any point and immediately used as two separate lengths without further soldering. For projects requiring multiple custom sections, soldering is the recommended method for the most reliable long-term connections. Due to its 8mm width, there are currently no solder-free connectors available for this strip.
The strip can be cut every 6 LEDs (approximately 50mm). The original 3M adhesive backing ensures secure mounting when applied to clean, dry surfaces.
This high-output LED strip should ideally be installed on an aluminium profile or flat bar to support proper cooling and maintain long-term LED efficiency, especially in warm or enclosed areas.

For installations longer than 5 metres, strips must not be connected in series. Longer lengths should be powered directly from the controller using a 4-core cable to prevent voltage drop and avoid damage to the PCB.
