EV1-S Constant Voltage Power Repeater / Amplifier (12–24 V DC 15 A)

The EV1-S Constant Voltage Power Repeater extends the output capacity of LED controllers used with single-colour constant-voltage installations. It receives the PWM dimming signal from a controller and replicates it, providing an additional 15 A output channel to power longer LED strip runs or additional lighting zones.

This ensures identical dimming behaviour across all connected LED strips, ideal for architectural, retail, hospitality, and entertainment lighting projects requiring consistent brightness and synchronisation.

When to Use This Product:
Installers should use this power repeater when the total LED load exceeds the controller’s rated output, when long LED runs show brightness drop at the far end, when multiple zones need to dim together under one controller, or when expanding an installation without adding additional controllers. Each repeater adds one more output channel while maintaining identical dimming levels across all sections.

How It Works:
The EV1-S requires a compatible LED controller to operate and cannot function independently. The controller outputs a PWM dimming signal, which the EV1-S receives and repeats. It powers an additional LED strip section using its own constant-voltage power supply, keeping all connected zones dimming together in perfect synchrony.

For example, if a controller drives 10 m of 24 V LED strip and 30 m are required, simply add two EV1-S repeaters, each powered by its own 24 V driver. All three sections dim evenly without any visible difference in brightness.

Installation Guidance:
Each repeater must have its own constant-voltage driver (12 V or 24 V matching the LED strip). The driver’s rated power should be at least 1.25 × the total connected LED load.

Keep PWM signal cables under 100 m and separate from mains cables to prevent interference. Maintain 6–7 mm wire stripping length and tighten terminals securely. Do not stack repeaters — allow at least 20 cm spacing for ventilation. If PWM frequency ≥ 8 kHz, limit output current to ≤ 70 % to reduce heat.

Extended cover is a paid upgrade and is granted only after Hi-Line engineers have reviewed the project’s technical design, installation details, environment, and installer credentials. Once approved, coverage may be extended up to 7 Years.
