HL-TWS – RF Wireless Touch Wall Panel for Pixel LED Systems

The HL-TWS is a modern glass touch wall panel designed for controlling addressable SPI pixel LED strip systems using reliable 2.4GHz RF wireless communication.

This panel allows users to control lighting effects, colour modes, brightness, and animation speed directly from a wall-mounted touch interface.

It is designed for use with digital addressable LED strip systems where individual LED pixels create dynamic lighting effects such as chasing patterns, colour flow effects, and animated lighting scenes.

Important – Controller Required

HL-TWS is only the wall control panel.

It does not connect directly to LED strips and cannot operate LED strips on its own.

A compatible SPI LED controller is required to receive the RF signal from the wall panel and generate the SPI data signal for the LED strip.

Compatible controllers include:

HL-WT-SPI – Recommended controller for simple RF wireless pixel LED installations.

HL-DS-WP – SPI pixel LED controller compatible with RF wireless control.

HL-DS-L – DMX512 to SPI controller used in more advanced lighting control systems.

For most installations we recommend using HL-WT-SPI, as it provides a straightforward and reliable RF wireless control system for pixel LED strips.

Remote Control Compatibility

The system can also operate together with the HL-R9 RF remote control, allowing both a wall panel and handheld remote to operate the same lighting controller.

This gives installers flexibility to provide fixed wall control and mobile remote operation.

Installation Guidance

The wall panel communicates wirelessly with the controller using RF 2.4GHz communication.

The LED controller must be installed close to the LED strip and connected according to the LED strip power and SPI signal requirements.

The controller receives commands from the wall panel and generates the SPI data signal required by the addressable LED strip.

When connecting pixel LED strips always follow the direction arrows printed on the strip. The arrow indicates the direction of the data signal.

The arrow must point away from the controller and towards the LED strip, otherwise the pixels will not operate correctly.
