The HL-WT-SPI is a smart WiFi and RF SPI controller designed for single-colour, RGB, and RGBW addressable LED strips using a wide range of SPI chip types. It combines Tuya Smart app control, optional 2.4 GHz RF remote operation, and voice compatibility with Alexa and Google Home for convenient and flexible lighting control.
It supports up to 1000 pixels across two SPI outputs, making it ideal for both small and large installations where smooth colour transitions, dynamic effects, and precise pixel mapping are required. The controller offers rich scene options, custom segment painting, music-rhythm effects, and full compatibility with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life ecosystem.
Setup is straightforward. Connect the controller to a 5–24 V DC constant voltage power supply and your pixel LED strip, then configure the chip type, colour order, and strip length through the Tuya Smart app. The controller automatically detects WiFi (2.4 GHz only) and allows remote management via cloud or local Bluetooth fallback. Optional RF pairing provides quick manual control when needed.
This controller is suitable for a wide range of lighting projects including feature lighting, coves, display cases, architectural accents, and pixel-based decorative lighting.
When installing, ensure good ventilation, maintain separation between low-voltage signal lines and mains wiring, and power long runs from multiple points to prevent voltage drop.
