HL-RGB-D22-PIX-3M is a 3 metre RGB pixel tube, 22 mm in diameter, with a braided 360° sleeve. It runs on 12 V and uses WS2811.

The braid takes the scuffs of handling, uncoiling and fitting, so the wear is on the sleeve rather than the tube. The tube still bends, and the light is thrown all the way round.

Power

About 40–45 W per metre with red, green and blue on together. That is a design figure for a suitable 12 V supply, with no voltage drop along the run. This 3 m roll is about 120–135 W at that figure. A 200 W 12 V constant-voltage driver is the practical size for the roll. Indoor and waterproof drivers are listed below, with SPI controllers, including an IP65 waterproof DMX-to-SPI decoder.

This length is made to order. Allow about 30 days.

The RGBW version of this 22 mm braided 3 m tube, with 50 pixels per metre, is HL-RGBW-D22-PIX-3M.

The same tube is also sold as a 5 m roll, HL-RGB-D22-PIX-5M, at £250 before VAT, and a 10 m roll, HL-RGB-D22-PIX-10M, at £500 before VAT. Both follow this 3 m roll at £50 per metre.
