HL-DA-L-RDM — 12–48 V DMX512 / RDM signal amplifier, 1 in / 2 out
Use this when a DMX or RDM bus is too long, has more than about 32 devices, or needs a clean split. One optically isolated input, two optically isolated outputs (isolated from each other as well). RDM stays bidirectional so a console can still discover and address fixtures through the amplifier. 12–48 V DC, 0.5 A class. It does not decode DMX into LED output.
Why installers buy it
- Optical isolation on in and both outs — a wiring fault on one spur is less likely to take down the whole bus.
- Four LEDs: power, DMX in, out 1, out 2.
- IP20, about 178 × 50 × 38 mm, 128 g. Screw terminals, installation lugs (DIN-style rack).
What you are wiring
- Power in + / −, 12–48 V DC (same PSU family as the rest of the 12–48 V kit, or a small dedicated supply)
- DMX/RDM in D+ / D− / GND from the console or previous spur
- DMX/RDM out 1 and out 2, each D+ / D− / GND
