24V 6W MR16 RGBW LED Spotlight – SPI WS2814 Pixel (50mm)
24V 6W 50 mm RGBW spotlight with a WS2814 pixel chip and 3-pin SPI tails. Sold each. This is not the 5-wire PWM model — it needs a dedicated SPI controller such as HL-WT-SPI.
This is the SPI / pixel 6W version of our 50 mm RGBW spotlight. It looks like HL-RGBWW-PWM-24V-6W, but it is not the same lamp and it will not run on the same controller.
A WS2814 chip on the module makes each spotlight one pixel. You can set a different colour on every lamp in the chain. Wiring is three pins (24 V, 0 V and DATA) with JST in and out, not the five PWM cores (V+, R, G, B, W).
Do not buy this if you want the PWM model
- PWM 5-in-1 controllers (WT5, V5-L and the rest of that family) and analogue RGBW DMX decoders will not drive this lamp.
- Use this SPI version when each spotlight must be its own address — chases, different colours in one run, or a pixel show.
- Use the PWM sister when the whole group should be one colour on ordinary 5-wire RGBW control.
Controller
Pair it with a dedicated SPI pixel controller and set the chip type to WS2814 (RGBW, four channels). Do not choose WS2811 — that is RGB only. Leave the clock (CLK) terminal unused.
For app or RF control: HL-WT-SPI (WiFi) or HL-WZ-SPI (ZigBee, needs a Tuya ZigBee gateway). Optional 2.4 GHz remotes after you match them.
For DMX512 control, use a DMX-to-SPI decoder such as HL-DS-L. If the decoder must sit outdoors or in a wet location, use HL-DS-WP (IP65). Any other professional DMX512-to-SPI controller that supports WS2814 is also suitable — set the chip type the same way. Related products are listed below.
Daisy-chain DATA out of one lamp into the next. Keep the data run short (about 10 m, then a common-ground SPI splitter). 24 V power can be injected along the run if the chain is long. Count each lamp as one pixel on the controller.

Ceiling mounting
Front diameter is 50 mm, the same as MR16 / GU10 downlights. We do not supply ceiling bezels; search for a 50 mm downlight bezel and check the cut-out before you order. Body height is about 40 mm — allow that clearance in the ceiling.

Driver sizing
Use a 24 V constant-voltage driver. Size for every colour on, not for a typical mixed scene. Allow at least 20% spare. On site we prefer more headroom on a ceiling load — count about 9 W per 6 W lamp. Ten lamps are 60 W nominal: minimum 72 W, preferred around 90 W.
