This 24V RGBW LED spotlight delivers precise colour mixing and warm white output, making it suitable for decorative and accent lighting applications. It operates on a constant voltage system and uses PWM control via 5-wire RGBW LED controllers, the same as those used for RGBW LED strips.
It fits standard MR16 and GU10 50mm fittings but requires a minimum clearance height of 41mm. The body is made from aluminium alloy with a PC lens for optimal heat dissipation and durability.
Ceiling Mounting Information
This LED module uses a standard 50mm front diameter, the same size as MR16 and GU10 downlights. We don't supply ceiling-mount bezels for this item, but they are very easy to source elsewhere. Searching for "downlight 50mm bezel" or "downlight replacement bezel" will bring up a wide range of compatible options in different colours and styles (fixed or tilt). As designs vary between manufacturers, a quick compatibility check is recommended before installation.

Driver sizing
6W is the nominal total. Red, green, blue and warm white are four independent channels. With all four at 100%, the lamp is at its maximum load, and a meter can read a little over 6W once the body is warm. On constant-voltage PWM, LED forward voltage falls slightly with temperature, so current rises a little. That is how this type of module behaves.
Always size the 24V driver for all channels on, not for a typical mixed colour.
- Minimum: allow 20% spare capacity on the driver. This is the usual rule for any constant-voltage LED installation — cable loss, warm running and driver life. The same allowance is used for LED strip and other constant-voltage loads.
- Installer recommendation: allow around 50% spare for this RGBW PWM load in a ceiling. Count each lamp as about 9W. That keeps the driver cooler and leaves room for all-on scenes, voltage at the high end of 24V, and several fittings on one supply.
Worked example: ten lamps are 60W nominal. Minimum driver 72W (20%). Preferred on site: about 90W (50%). A 60W driver is not a ten-lamp pack.

This model operates using a 5-wire PWM (RGBW) control system and is ideal for installations with short to medium cable runs where simple wiring and flexible control are sufficient. With PWM, longer distances can create voltage drop on each line, which may cause visible colour differences between fixtures. Using thicker cables can help, but for professional applications with cable runs of 50–100 metres, it becomes impractical.

The same 50 mm body is also sold as an SPI / pixel version with a WS2814 chip and 3-pin tails: 6W and 12W. Those lamps need a dedicated SPI controller such as HL-WT-SPI or HL-WZ-SPI. They will not run on this 5-wire PWM wiring.
