Ceiling Mounting Information
This LED module uses a standard 50mm front diameter, the same size as MR16 and GU10 downlights. We don’t supply ceiling-mount bezels for this item, but they are very easy to source elsewhere. Searching for “downlight 50mm bezel” or “downlight replacement bezel” will bring up a wide range of compatible options in different colours and styles (fixed or tilt). As designs vary between manufacturers, a quick compatibility check is recommended before installation.
Dimensions and Fitting Requirements
The module body measures Ø50mm x 81mm (diameter x height), machined from black anodised aluminium with integrated cooling fins. At the rear, a cable gland extends approximately 15mm, providing strain relief for the pre-attached CAT5 lead. To allow the cable to bend safely within the fitting or ceiling void, an additional 30mm clearance is recommended.
In total, installers should allow for around 110–115mm overall depth from the ceiling surface to accommodate both the module and the bend radius of the cable.

This LED module operates on constant current 700mA, comes ready with CAT5 cable and RJ45 plug for easy and fast retrofitting of existing MR16 or GU10 fixtures. Using the supplied T-BOX you may simply "plug and play" all your spots (daisy chain) to the DMX RGBW 4 channels, 1 zone LED controller and interface with any smart home controller through DMX512 gateway. This is not a stand alone downlight and requires DMX professional installer to setup.

RGBW Module has the same diameter as the standard MR16 halogen lamp, so you may choose any design of a standard MR16 or GU10 lighting fitting and use the module as a light source. A test will be necessary to make sure the selected fitting can fit the specific module, some fittings might not be compatible. RGBW LED module operates on constant current mode and is supplied ready with a 2 meters CAT5/ cable with RJ45 plug and an extra 2 meters network cable with plugs. With every module we do also supply a plastic "T-BOX" for daisy chain connection of all modules with the LED controller output. A higher quality metal RJ45 "T-BOX" is also available at extra cost.
If you plan to use a longer network cable other than the supplied standard 2-meter length (2 meters between T-Boxes), it's important to estimate the voltage drop. This estimation will determine the number of RGBW modules that can be connected to each controller.

Please take note of the following:
When installing a single spot-light, it should be plugged directly into the DMX controller's RJ45 port.
If you are daisy chaining multiple spot-lights using T-shape junction boxes, it is crucial to terminate the last connection point with a spot-light. Avoid adding another terminal link with a spot-light attached, as this configuration will not work.

This module is part of our high-end professional series, designed for demanding installations where long cable runs, stable output and precise individual control are essential. It uses constant-current LED technology, which delivers consistent brightness and colour accuracy across the entire run, even when fixtures are positioned many metres away from the controller.
Standard 5-wire PWM systems (like those used with RGBW LED strips) are ideal for shorter runs, but over longer distances the small voltage drop in each line can cause slight colour variation from one end to the other. That’s perfectly normal for PWM strip control, but it’s not desirable for applications such as theatres, architectural spot lighting or large venue installations where individual fixtures may be located tens of metres apart.
In these scenarios, constant-current modules like this one are the correct and professional solution.
This fixture integrates smoothly with constant current 700mA DMX512 and other professional control systems, providing robust long-distance signalling and full individual addressing.
