Note: While any type of LED strip will perform better when installed in a profile or on an aluminium flat bar, due to the nature of high-powered SMD chips running warm at 15 watts per metre and above, we strongly suggest that you consider installing this LED strip on an aluminium bar at the very minimum, in order to ensure proper cooling and thus increasing its lifespan. Always consult with your installer, as it may come down to their discretion, depending on how cool and well-ventilated the area is. Don’t risk burning out any chips!
