S1-HV High Voltage LED Strip RF Dimmer 100-240V
The Hi-Line HL-S1-HV is a compact mains-voltage LED-strip dimmer: 100–240 V AC in, 100–240 V DC out, one channel, max 1.5 A (150–360 W). It is for high-voltage single-colour LED tape, not 12/24 V strip and not GU10 lamps. Control is 2.4 GHz RF plus an AC retractive push. Full wiring, matching and limits are in the attached PDF.
HL-S1-HV — mains-voltage LED-strip RF dimmer
Use this module when the tape itself is a high-voltage single-colour LED strip (typically 220–240 V). It sits on the supply: live and neutral in, constant-voltage DC out to the strip. It is not a 12/24 V PWM dimmer, and it is not an AC triac dimmer for GU10s or mains-dimmable lamps. Those jobs need a low-voltage strip controller or an HL-S1-B series triac module.
Why installers buy it
- One small box (about 56 × 50 × 28 mm) to dim up to about 25 m of high-voltage single-colour tape (length depends on the strip wattage — stay inside 1.5 A / 150–360 W).
- No extra 12/24 V driver on that run. The strip is fed from the dimmer output.
- Occupants can use a normal retractive AC push on the wall. You can add a Hi-Line 2.4 GHz single-colour remote later without rewiring.
- Several dimmers in one zone stay in step: the RF signal is forwarded about 30 m in open space, so long corridors and building perimeters can share one remote.
How people control it
- AC retractive push on the push terminals: short press on/off, long press (1–6 s) ramps brightness; the next long press ramps the other way. Last level is remembered, including after a power cut.
- Hi-Line 2.4 GHz RF remotes (single-colour / dimming models such as HL-R11, HL-R6, HL-R6-1): short-press Match on the dimmer, then the remote on/off or zone key. About 30 m in open space; treat 10–15 m through walls as realistic. Up to ten remotes per dimmer.
On/off fade can be set to 3 s from the Match key (see the PDF). A 10 s hold restores the factory fade.
Electrical — read before you order
- Input: 100–240 V AC, 1.7 A
- Output: 100–240 V DC, max 1.5 A, 150–360 W, constant voltage, one channel
- PWM 2 kHz, 4096 levels, 0–100 %
- Terminals: L / N in, V+ / V− out, AC push. Confirm polarity on the strip before first power-up — reversed HV tape will damage the dimmer and the strip
- IP20, indoor, dry location only. Ta −30 °C to +55 °C, Tc max 85 °C
- Size about 56 × 50 × 28 mm (pack L56 × W56 × H35 mm), about 67 g
What to put with it

The user manual PDF is on the Attachments tab (factory pages, Hi-Line website on each page). Wiring diagrams there show the only legal load: high-voltage single-colour LED strip on the DC output.
Technical summary
- Functions: 2.4 GHz RF + AC push, 1 channel constant-voltage for HV LED strip
- Dimming: 4096 levels, 0–100 %
- RF range: up to 30 m open / ~15 m typical indoors; auto-transmit between dimmers
- Marks: CE, UKCA, RoHS | EN 62368-1, ETSI EN 300 328 / 301 489
- Warranty: 5 years
Must be installed by a qualified electrician to BS 7671 / IET Wiring Regulations. Confirm strip voltage, wattage and polarity before first power-up. Wrong connections on a high-voltage strip will destroy the dimmer.
