HL-R1-B — 10-key 1-zone RF dimming remote, black
This is a battery handheld remote, not a dimmer and not a mains switch. Ten keys on a slim 135 mm handset: on/off, night light, four brightness shortcuts, brightness +/− and two scenes. The RF 2.4 GHz signal goes to a matching Hi-Line single-colour receiver on the LED strip (for example HL-V1-L, HL-V1-L/P, HL-V1-KS or HL-V1-F). Without that receiver, the remote does nothing.
Why installers buy it
- Slim 135 × 40 × 11 mm handset. A wall holder is in the box — screw it up or stick it on. Occupants can take the remote off the wall and put it back.
- Shortcut keys for 25 %, 50 %, 75 % and 100 % plus a night-light key. Two scene keys (S1 / S2) for the levels you use most.
- One remote can run one or more matched single-colour dimmers. About 30 m in open space; treat 10–15 m through walls as realistic.
- CR2032, typical standby about two years. Peel the battery film before first use. This listing is the black handset.
How people use it
- On / off at the top.
- Night light for a low preset.
- Circle keys: 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 % brightness.
- Sun keys: brightness +/−. Short press steps; hold 1–6 s for a smooth ramp.
- S1 / S2: recall a stored scene. Hold to save the current level.
Match: short-press Match on the receiver, then immediately press on/off on the remote. The receiver LED flashes if it took. A power-cycle match is in the PDF if the receiver has no Match button to hand. Hold Match 5 s on the receiver to clear remotes.

What to put with it
