HL-V1-K — 20 A rotary RF strip dimmer with numeric display
Use this when the tape is constant-voltage single-colour LED strip on 12–48 V DC and you want a knob on the box plus a percentage on the display. Four DIP PWM settings: 500 Hz, 2 kHz, 8 kHz or 16 kHz. Linear or logarithmic curve on the same block. Optional RF 2.4 GHz remotes after you match them.
It is the high-current knob sister of HL-V1-KS (that one is 8 A). It is not the 0–10 V / push HL-V1-T, and not a mains AC triac.
Why installers buy it
- 20 A at 12/24 V on 500 Hz (240 W @ 12 V, 480 W @ 24 V). At 36/48 V the 500 Hz rating is 15 A. Higher PWM steps reduce current — the table is on the lid and in the PDF.
- Turn the knob for 0–100 % with a live percentage on the three-digit display. Camera work or audible-whine complaints: step PWM up. Long runs or max load: stay on 500 Hz.
- Match Hi-Line single-colour remotes if the occupant wants a handheld as well as the knob. About 15 m in open space.
- Over-heat / over-load / short recover automatically. Optional 3-second fade on/off (see PDF).
What you are wiring
- Power in + / − (12–48 V DC from a constant-voltage driver)
- LED out + / − to the strip. Confirm polarity before first power-up
- DIP: PWM frequency and dimming curve — set before hanging the lid
- Match key on the top for optional remotes
What to put with it
Open Related products for Hi-Line 2.4 GHz single-colour remotes, the sibling HL-V1-KS, and HL-V1-T if you need 0–10 V instead. Do not add an RGB remote.

Must be installed by a qualified electrician. Confirm strip voltage and that the driver is constant-voltage before first power-up. Do not stack units; leave about 20 cm to the driver.
