HL-PK1 — 1-zone rotary panel RF remote
This is a battery wall remote, not a dimmer and not a mains switch. The knob sits on an 86 mm plate. Occupants push for on/off and rotate for brightness. The RF 2.4 GHz signal goes to a matching Hi-Line single-colour receiver on the LED strip (for example HL-V1-L, HL-V1-KS, HL-V1-T or HL-V1-F). Without that receiver, the panel does nothing.
Why installers buy it
- Looks like a normal UK/EU 86 mm light switch. Screw the plate to the wall, or stick it on with the pad in the box — no live in the back box.
- The rotary insert pulls out of the plate, so you can take the knob to the receiver for matching, then drop it back in.
- One panel can run one or more matched single-colour dimmers. About 30 m in open space; treat 10–15 m through walls as realistic.
- CR2032, typical standby about a year. Peel the battery film before first use.
How people use it
- Push: on/off.
- Rotate (after on): brightness, about 2.5 turns / 50 steps.
- Long push 1–6 s: smooth 256-level ramp.
Match: short-press Match on the receiver, then immediately push the knob. The receiver LED flashes if it took. A power-cycle match is in the PDF if the receiver has no Match button to hand. Hold Match 5 s on the receiver to clear remotes.

What to put with it
Open Related products for the Hi-Line single-colour RF dimmers we keep with this panel. Do not pair it with an RGB or RGB+CCT remote or receiver and expect colour control — this face only dims one channel.

Indoor, dry location only. Fit the battery the right way round. If the receiver does not respond, re-match as in the PDF rather than replacing the panel first.
