HL-S1-F — single-line AC triac RF dimmer
Use this module when the existing switch drop is switched live only (no neutral in the back box). Live in on L, dimmed live out on L1, to mains-dimmable GU10s, lamps or a triac LED driver. A retractive push on A1/A2 gives on/off and hold-to-dim. Optional Hi-Line 2.4 GHz remotes match the same way as the rest of the range.
It is not a 12/24 V PWM strip dimmer, and it is not the two-wire S1-B (that one needs live and neutral through the module). Minimum useful LED load is about 30 W.
Why installers buy it
- Fits a standard UK/EU wall box behind a retractive plate, or clips to DIN rail with the included bracket.
- One small box (about 56 × 50 × 28 mm) for up to 1.5 A — 200 W of dimmable LED at 220 V, 400 W tungsten/halogen. Stay inside 150–360 W by supply voltage.
- Occupants keep a normal push on the wall. Add a Hi-Line single-colour RF remote later without pulling a neutral.
- Match key on the face; min-brightness set from the same key. Over-heat / over-load recover automatically.

- AC input L (switched live from the circuit)

- N terminal is the lamp/neutral reference on the face — confirm the PDF before first power-up
- A1 / A2: retractive AC push, 100–240 V
- Antenna lead: keep it clear of metal boxes where you can
What to put with it
Open Related products for Hi-Line 2.4 GHz single-colour remotes, the S1-SX surge suppressor for awkward LED drivers, and high-stock GU10s. Do not pair an RGB remote. The PK1 wall knob is a battery RF panel for the same receivers — it will also talk to this dimmer after matching.

Must be installed by a qualified electrician to BS 7671. Confirm lamp type, wattage and that you only have switched live before first power-up.
