10 mm 4-pin COB strip-to-wire connector | sold individually | clip only | IP00
Sold individually — 1 connector. This is the clip only; no wire is included. Use it when you have cut a 10 mm COB strip and need a tail of your own length: the strip goes into one side, 24 AWG ribbon into the other, then the lock is closed.
The housing has four contacts. It is made for 10 mm COB tape in both layouts this family covers:
- Tunable white / CCT — 3-wire COB. Use three contacts; leave the spare unused.
- RGB — 4-wire COB. Use all four contacts.
It is the strip-to-wire companion of our 10 mm 4-pin COB strip-to-strip clip (HL-COB10-SS4-IP00). Same 10 mm COB family, not for 8 mm or 12 mm tape, and not for SMD pads of a different pitch.
Wire size
The wire side is sized for 24 AWG (about 0.20 mm²). 22 AWG and 20 AWG are too thick for this housing. Do not force a heavier gauge.
Identify each core with a meter before you terminate; jacket colours vary.
On a 3-wire CCT strip the shared positive carries the full load, not one colour channel. Size the tail and the 5.5 A rating of this clip against that combined current. More on that in our article Common-core current, connectors and voltage drop.

Push the strip fully onto the contacts, insert the 24 AWG cores, then lock. Test colours before the tape goes into a profile.
