This 24V WS2811 COB addressable LED strip is designed for dynamic single-colour pixel effects such as running light, chasing, marquee, and horse-race style animations. Unlike standard constant-voltage warm white LED strips that illuminate uniformly, this product allows sections of light to be individually controlled, creating movement and visual effects along the length of the strip.
COB (Chip-on-Board) construction with a high density of 360 LEDs per metre produces a smooth, continuous line of light with no visible LED spotting. This makes the strip particularly suitable for visible installations where traditional pixel strips with spaced LEDs would appear dotted.
The strip uses external WS2811 addressable ICs, with each IC controlling a defined lighting segment. Each metre is divided into 12 independently addressable pixel sections, with each pixel controlling 30 COB LEDs. This structure delivers smooth animated effects while maintaining the continuous appearance expected from COB lighting.
This product must be operated with a compatible SPI (addressable) controller. It is not suitable for connection to standard LED drivers, dimmers, or non-addressable controllers. Customers looking for a simple static warm white LED strip should choose a non-addressable single-colour LED strip instead.
Supplied as a 5-metre roll and operating on DC 24V, this strip offers efficient performance with reduced current compared to lower-voltage pixel solutions. It is non-waterproof (IP20) and intended for indoor use only.

Important Information
This is an addressable pixel LED strip and requires a compatible WS2811 / SPI controller to operate. Each metre contains 12 controllable pixel sections, and each section operates as one addressable unit and cannot be subdivided further.
If you require a simple warm white LED strip with uniform output and no animation, this product is not suitable and a non-addressable single-colour LED strip should be selected instead.
