This is a DMX512 wall mounting RGBW LED controller that can be used with any RGBW LED strip or other constant voltage LED product in combination with a DMX-512 decoder module. We offer two different DMX decoders, DIN rail non waterproof and also a waterproof version for outdoor installations.
LED strip lighting cannot be driven directly by the wall mount DMX touch controller, the output of the controller is DMX standard data signal, which can be decoded using additional DMX decoders. One or more RGBW DMX decoders can be used depending on the length of RGBW LED strip involved.
It is a touch controller with a glass interface in white colour and can be mounted on a standard UK back box, dimensions of the controller are 86x86mm and the depth is 29.1mm
At the wall back box it is necessary to supply 12 or 24V DC from a switch mode power supply for the controller. Power consumption will be negligible (less than 5W) as the output of this controller is pure DMX512 signal and there is no real load involved. Power cables for this controller can be fed from the same power supply that provides the LED strips decoder with 24V DC power. Alternatively a separate power supply can be used and in such a case a 12V DC supply can also do the job even if the LED strips operate on 24V.
Output from the touch controller will be wired in daisy chain in case of using more than one DMX decoders. Remember that this is a single channel DMX signal controller and all decoders will operate on the same DMX start channel which will be 001. (Please set all DMX decoders connected with the touch controller at start address 001).
