The HL-ES-D(WT) works only with pixel addressable LED strips. It supports digital RGB and digital white SPI strips. It does not support RGBW strips such as SK6812 RGBW. Before purchasing, confirm that your LED strip uses one of the supported IC chips. If the chip is not supported, this controller will not function.
Product Description
The HL-ES-D(WT) is a WiFi-enabled SPI controller designed for automated and smart lighting projects. It combines dual PIR motion sensors with dual push button inputs, delivering smooth motion-activated effects as well as manual control. The included daylight sensor ensures lighting only operates when needed, improving energy efficiency.
The controller supports many of the most popular pixel ICs such as WS2811, WS2812, SK9822, TM1804, UCS1903, and SM16703P. It also works with many other IC types; the complete compatibility list is available in the PDF manual under the Attachments tab. Total capacity is up to 960 pixels.
The HL-ES-D(WT) integrates with the Tuya Smart APP and offers voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Features include preset and custom scenes, music-sync mode, and scheduling. Optional RF 2.4GHz remote pairing is supported. Please note that this product is not compatible with Philips Hue.

Applications
The HL-ES-D(WT) is ideal for residential and smart home installations including staircase lighting, corridors, hallways, pathways, ramps, wardrobes, cabinets, shelving, and integrated furniture. It is also well suited for commercial projects such as cinemas, theatres, hotels, bars, restaurants, showrooms, and retail displays, where motion-triggered or decorative pixel lighting enhances both design and safety.
Important Notes
This controller is designed for RGB and single-colour digital SPI strips only. It does not support RGBW strips. Customers must always confirm their LED strip uses a supported IC. Popular ICs include WS2811, WS2812, SK9822, TM1804, UCS1903, and SM16703P, but many more are supported as listed in the user manual. For longer runs at 12V or 24V, power injection is required to prevent voltage drop. Always use a constant voltage driver matched to the strip voltage and sized correctly for the load.
Warranty Information
Hi-Line Lighting provides a standard 3-year warranty for this product. Extended cover beyond three years is available on request and is only valid with an official Hi-Line extended warranty certificate. Extended warranty is granted following review of the project design, environment, and installer credentials, and may extend cover up to 5 years.
