Professional microwave motion and occupancy sensor designed for intelligent lighting automation systems. Unlike basic PIR infrared sensors, this advanced microwave sensor uses high-frequency radar detection technology for improved sensitivity, wider coverage, and more reliable motion detection in commercial and residential environments.
The sensor supports RF 2.4GHz wireless control, 0-10V / 1-10V dimming output, AC relay switching, and Zigbee 3.0 communication, making it suitable for smart lighting systems, corridors, offices, warehouses, staircases, utility rooms, commercial buildings, and energy-saving lighting projects.
Compared to standard PIR infrared sensors, microwave technology provides significantly improved sensitivity and more consistent motion detection performance. The sensor can detect smaller movements more effectively, helping maintain lighting activation in occupied areas. While highly sensitive, this product should be considered a professional microwave motion and occupancy sensor rather than a specialist ultra-sensitive presence detector designed to detect breathing or completely motionless occupants.
One of the main advantages of this sensor is its flexible control compatibility. The built-in RF wireless transmission system allows the sensor to wirelessly trigger compatible RF lighting controllers and RF dimmable LED drivers without requiring additional signal wiring between the sensor and lighting controller.
