No 3M tape. This silicone sleeve is supplied without double-sided adhesive. A bare reel is not a missing part. Installers often want 3M because it is quick to fit. On this cover, acrylic tape sticks to the wall and lets go of the silicone, which is why the reel is supplied this way. If a red liner is still on the reel, peel it off. It is not the mount, and glue on that liner does not fix it. Mount the sleeve with DOWSIL 7091, white, 310 ml. The 45 g tube HL-706TM only seals a cut end and its cap. Alternatively, on the top side, you can identify the cut points by the slight shading every 45mm, which indicates the copper cutting points for precise customization.
- Maximum Series Connection: Though designed for a maximum series connection of 5m, you can run the entire 10m roll in series without cutting. However, to avoid voltage drop, it is recommended to power both ends in parallel, ensuring consistent brightness throughout the length.
- Energy Class: Positioned towards the upper end of Energy Class F, our LED strip boasts an efficiency of 100 lm/w, nearing the threshold for Class E.
Cutting points are visible on the strip as darker copper lines, which are easier to spot when held up to the light. No 3M tape is fitted on the back, so the cut marks are easier to see. Any old liner can be peeled off. Use the note at the top of this page as a guide. Cuts must always be made straight across at 90° on the marked line. Cutting in the wrong place will only affect that section, not the full strip, though a short piece may remain unlit if not cut precisely. Always switch the strip off before cutting, as cutting while powered can damage the entire length. After cutting, reseal with the correct end cap and silicone to maintain IP68 protection.
