- Customisable Lengths: While the top side lacks visible cut lines due to the protective coating, the underside reveals cut points every 45mm. For adhesive-backed strips, these lines might be hidden. Alternatively, slight shading every 45mm on the top side indicates the copper cutting points for precise customisation.
- Extended Runs: Although designed for a maximum series connection of 5m, the entire 10m roll can be run in series without cutting. To prevent voltage drop, it is advisable to power both ends in parallel, maintaining uniform brightness throughout.
- Energy Classification: Positioned towards the upper end of Energy Class F, this strip boasts an efficiency of 100 lm/w, approaching the threshold for Class E.
Cutting points are visible on the strip as darker copper lines, which are easier to spot when held up to the light. A 3M double-sided adhesive is applied on the back, so if needed it can be peeled off to see the PCB more clearly and use it as a guide. Cuts must always be made straight across at 90° on the marked line. Cutting in the wrong place will only affect that section, not the full strip, though a short piece may remain unlit if not cut precisely. Always switch the strip off before cutting, as cutting while powered can damage the entire length. After cutting, reseal with the correct end cap and silicone to maintain IP68 protection.

The exclusive coating on our LED strips not only offers IP68 protection but also acts as a cooling agent, enabling the strips to endure temperatures up to 110 degrees Celsius. This makes them particularly well-suited for high-temperature and extreme environments. For optimal durability and efficiency in saunas and steam rooms, we recommend installing the IP68 LED strips onto aluminium flat bars, LED profiles, or directly onto concrete walls. This setup enhances cooling and extends the lifespan and brightness of the LED chips.

Premium COB LED Chips – High Brightness Version
This product uses Hi-Line Premium COB LED chips, designed to deliver higher brightness and improved efficiency compared to standard COB LED strips.
Although many LED strips may state 528 LEDs per metre, actual performance depends on the quality of the LED chips and internal components. Hi-Line uses selected high-grade COB technology, which is why this version operates at 15W per metre with very strong light output.
We also offer the same Premium specification at 10W per metre, using the same high-quality chips but with reduced brightness for applications where lower light output is preferred.
In addition, Hi-Line offers a Value Series version (528 LEDs per metre, 10W per metre). This is a more economical option using different materials and components, while still maintaining a professional standard. Value Series products are always clearly identified in their descriptions.
This product refers to the Premium high-brightness version.
