ES32-V PIR Sensor Stair Light Controller 32CH 5-24V

HL-ES32-V is a 32-channel constant-voltage stair-light controller with two PIR heads and a daylight sensor in the box. 5–24 V, 1 A per step. Walk on at the top or bottom and the treads sequence on. OLED, six run modes. Single-colour strip only — not the SPI RGB ES32.

HL-ES32-V — 32-channel PIR stair-light controller

This is a stair sequencer, not a one-channel dimmer. Each tread gets its own 5–24 V constant-voltage output (max 1 A). Two PIR heads go at the top and bottom of the flight. Walk into range and the steps run on in sequence (or together — you choose). A daylight sensor can hold the stairs off when the landing is already bright.

It is the constant-voltage, single-colour version. It is not the SPI RGB ES32, and not a 12–48 V RF strip dimmer.

Why installers buy it

  • Up to 32 treads, 1 A each. Set the step count from 4 to 32 on the OLED so unused channels stay off.
  • Six run modes: flow, chase, trail, float, five-step, one-step. Speed and brightness 1–8.
  • Sequential or synchronised on/off. Fade 0–3 s. Auto-off delay 5 s to 10 min (default 10 s).
  • Two retractive pushes can stand in for the PIRs. Daylight threshold 10–200 lux, or off.
  • Box includes two PIR heads and a daylight sensor. Laser heads (ER-C / EL-C) are optional if the PIR field is too wide.
  • Self-test from the buttons. Any damaged channel can be disabled so the sequence skips it. Short-circuit protection.

What you are wiring

  • Power in + / −, 5–24 V DC constant voltage. Size the driver for all steps on at once (up to 32 A if every channel is at 1 A — in practice much less on typical stair tape).
  • Outputs 01–32, each + / − to one tread. Label the looms 1–32 before first power-up.
  • UP PIR and DW PIR. Optional UP / DW push. Optional lux sensor.

PIR field is about 3 m, 30° ±10°. Keep heads away from HVAC, windows and direct sun. Indoor dry location only.

What to put with it

Constant-voltage single-colour 12 V or 24 V strip on each tread, cut to the riser width. Open Related products for a typical 24 V COB. Do not feed this box from a 36/48 V driver.

The user manual PDF is on the Attachments tab (factory pages, Hi-Line website on each page). OLED key-presses and the six modes are in that file.
